Medina Hijri Story

Rukaiyya died in Medina in the second year of the Hijri after the Battle of Tabuk.

The Prophet then married his second daughter, Umm Kulsum.

This is why he is known to Muslims as the possessor of Yun-Nurain or the two lights.

However, there are some differences. For example, Imam Suyuti thinks that Rukaiyar was married to Osman before he converted to Islam.

But most historians have abandoned this idea. Uthman and Ruqayyah were the first Muslim families to migrate.

Abdullah bin Usman

They first migrated to Abyssinia. There they had a son named Abdullah bin Usman.

Then Uthman's kuniya became Ibi Abdillah. Abdullah died in the 4th year of Hijri.

Rukaiyya died in the aftermath of the Battle of Tabuk. Umm Kulsum then married 'Uthman, although they had no children.

Umm Kulsum also died in the ninth year of Hijri.
